IS LOVE REALLY ENOUGH?

Love makes babies of us all. When we fall in love or lust or infatuation because can we really differentiate between all three, we lose our sense of reasoning. We get carried away by the euphoria of being in love. When that surge of emotions take us over, nothing else seems to matter. We want to be with the one we love. We want to talk constantly. There's no time to sleep-we want to spend every hour with him/her. We feel like the sun rises and sets in his eyes. We glow from the outside in and everyone can tell we have fallen in love.

But is love really enough?

"Someone asked me what I saw in you to love you so much...my only answer was everything."

When the euphoria dies away and the challenges of time, work, bills and the many worries of life take over, will love really be enough?

Can love sustain a marriage where there are bills left unpaid? Will love warm the home when hunger bites the stomach? Will love stay if children do not come?  Love is overrated or should I say love is oversimplified. Love is only really enough when the people in love choose and decide to be in love. They decide that love will help them conquer all and only then will love ever be truly enough.

Love is only love when it has been tested and it has triumphed.

Love indeed makes life worth living.
